Do More Than Manage

Summary Task

Requirements for Issues, Risks and Documents

Just to be clear, if you want to use the Issue, Risk, or Document features in Project Server 2003, you must install Windows SharePoint Services. To install Windows SharePoint Services you must install it on Windows Server 2003. (Windows 2000 is not enough.)

Further, you must use Windows Authentication to access PWA and the SharePoint features. Project Server authentication accounts will not be sufficient to access SharePoint.

And no, you can't run Project Server with a Microsoft Access database. And yes, you need more than a Commodore 64 to power the server.

Check out the System Requirements for Project 2003 for more information.
